Many people kick off diets with all sorts of ambitions only to fail because of some tedious little aspect — such as actually tracking what they eat. Thanks to an app though, the task of counting calories can be taken care of in seconds.
The app which will almost magically help you keep note of what you consume is called Calorific. It is free and available for both iOS and Android devices.
How is it that this app makes calorie counting fast and almost effortless? Because it encourages you to log foods based on one of three categories ("Great," "OK," and "Bad") and four portion sizes ("Tiny," "Small," "Medium," and "Large") instead of forcing you to jump through hoops to look up precise calorie counts for specific food items.
On one hand, this is fantastic — after all, you might actually maintain a food log. On the flip side, Calorific's overly simplified interface and approach doesn't provide you with an exact calorie count (if that's what you're after, this isn't the app for you).
