Job seekers may be noticing a difference in their search. In June, U.S. employers posted the highest number of monthly job openings since 2001, the Labor Department reported Tuesday. The Job Openings and Labor Turnover Survey, or JOLTS, indicates 4.7 million positions were posted in June. Since the beginning of the year, the number of job opportunities has risen steadily each month.

Companies like Amazon have plans to hire thousands of workers. Here’s where you can apply:

Amazon is hiring 6,000 positions at its corporate offices, plus thousands more at its shipping centers.

United Healthcare has more than 2,000 openings.

Macy’s has 5,800 openings.

Verizon has 4,000 openings.
