Bad news for folks who are itching to get their hands on the shiny new Samsung Galaxy S4: T-Mobile and Sprint have postponed their shipping dates for the highly anticipated smartphone.

In separate statements provided to NBC News, both T-Mobile and Sprint blamed inventory problems as the reason neither will ship the S4 on the originally announced dates.

T-Mobile postponed things from April 24 to April 29, while Sprint — which originally planned for a full launch on April 27 — has not yet announced a new date.

A Verizon spokesperson told NBC News that the company will still ship the GS4 on April 30, while an AT&T spokesperson said that the carrier is on track for its April 27 launch.
