Coming Up On “Hardball With Chris Matthews” Next Week, May 9-13:  Former Secretary Of The Army Togo West; Tim Russert; Mia Farrow; Richard Holbrooke

Monday, May 9:  “Hardball Special Report” on military recruiting – As the Iraq conflict continues, the military is grappling with dwindling manpower.  “Hardball” takes an in-depth look at the military’s recruiting crisis. Guests include an 18-year old recruit who enlisted under pressure from the National Guard and his mother, and former Secretary of the Army Togo West.

Wednesday, May 11: NBC’s Tim Russert will discuss the Senate vote for John Bolton, President Bush’s nominee for ambassador to the United Nations. Mia Farrow discusses her work to help with the humanitarian crisis in the Sudan.

Thursday, May 12: Richard Holbrooke, former U.S. ambassador to the United Nations under President Clinton, joins Chris to talk about the results of the Senate vote on John Bolton.
