Last week NBC News medical contributor Dr. Natalie Azar worked on a COVID-19 floor of NYU Langone Hospital in New York City. She talks about the prospects for remdesivir as a coronavirus treatment, saying there are positive signs, but “nothing definitive.” She also talks about the effects of the virus on the brain, such as stroke and seizure, saying that “every week this disease throws us another curve ball.”
