SALT LAKE CITY, Oct. 20, 2010 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Sector 10, Inc. (OTCBB:SECI) (Frankfurt:4RS1) announced today that it has developed a funding/grant program to better prepare communities for disasters while not interfering with any other grant processes the community wishes to pursue. The program, called the Response Rehabilitation and Preparation Project ("RAPP"), has been presented to the City of San Francisco and San Mateo County (CA).

The funding/grant is provided under an agreement with Gage Consulting, LLC ("Gage") in their position as a general consultant and federal Lobbyist. Under the agreement, Gage is assisting the Company in their efforts to obtain federal funds for the purchase of SRU and MRU units as pre-deployed assets for use by local fire and transit authorities. Funds are expected to be obtained from various federal agencies including the Department of Homeland Security. Each project is limited to $25 million in total funding with an initial maximum number of 10 projects. Each RAPP project will provide the community with all equipment and services needed to establish the basic infrastructure needed to provide first responders with the information and communication benefits of the Company's PLX-3D Software.

In late September, RAPP project proposals were submitted to the City of San Francisco and San Mateo County. Discussions are ongoing and preliminary approvals are expected within the next 30 to 60 days. Upon receipt of these approvals, Gage shall begin the process of obtaining the funding required for each project. The process with Gage is expected to be ready for initial funding and implementation in the 4th quarter of the fiscal year ending March 31, 2011. The implementations of the RAPP programs are expected to generate significant revenues and secondary sales, as well as provide necessary funding for the growth of the Company.
