Florida police are searching for a woman caught on camera allegedly coaching a young girl to shoplift a bottle of tequila from a liquor store.

Surveillance video captured the unidentified woman walking the girl to an aisle and seemingly instructing her to steal one of the bottles from 24/7 Liquors in Pembroke Park, Florida.

Video shows the woman walk away while the child stays behind and grabs a bottle of booze. The girl is seen struggling to hide a large bottle behind her back before returning to swap it for a smaller bottle. She walks toward the front of the store with the new bottle behind her back and then slowly backs out the front entrance while her companion stands in line to pay for something small.

Broward Sheriff's Office

Police said the child — estimated to be about 7 years old — stole a 750 ml bottle of 1800 Silver Tequila during the incident on August 11.

Store clerks confronted the woman after being alerted by customers to the girl's deed, the Broward Sheriff's Office said. The woman went out to a white Chevy Impala where the girl was waiting, but returned to tell workers the girl had not taken anything.

Police are offering a $3,000 reward for information leading to an arrest.
