'ED Show' playbook: Thurs., May 31

Republicans know Mitt Romney can’t win without Florida, so they're intensifying their efforts to steal the election.  But even they now admit their voter purging system is flawed and election supervisors are revolting against the governor!

Tonight, Ed will have reaction and analysis with Eugene Robinson, MSNBC Analyst and Associate Editor and Pulitzer Prize winning Columnist for The Washington Post.

In Wisconsin, former President Bill Clinton will campaign for Democrats and Republicans begin to crack with bogus claims of voter fraud.  Joan Walsh, Salon’s Editor at Large, and Ruth Conniff, Political Editor of The Progressive Magazine, will have the latest.

John Edwards gets emotional after he dodges a bullet in his campaign finance trial.  Ed will check in with Mike Papantonio, host of "The Ring of Fire" radio show, to find out what’s next for the former Democratic star.

Rich Republican donors are whining about all the attention they're getting trying to defeat President Obama.  But Ed will wipe their nose and straighten them out with the big panel of of Ilyse Hogue of The Nation, Catherine Crier, author and journalist, and Mark Simone, radio talk show host.

Ed will also expose the Romney campaign’s hypocrisy when it comes to talking about job creation.

And in the Big Finish, Mitt Romney is trying to hide the Republican war on the poor.  The dynamic duo of Dr. Cornel West, Professor in the Center for African American Studies at Princeton University, and Tavis Smiley, co-host of Smiley and West and author (“The Rich and The Rest of Us: A Poverty Manifesto”), will look at the politics of poverty.
