Today is Mardi Gras "Fat Tuesday" in New Orleans, the last day of the Carnival season, featuring music, parades, picnics, floats and excitement. People wear purple, green, and gold, and are adorned with long beads caught from the beautiful floats that parade through the streets. NBC News' Jay Gray reports.
