Uber halts self-driving testing after fatal pedestrian crash
An Arizona woman was hit and killed by a self-driving Uber, the first known pedestrian death linked to the technology, leading Uber to suspended all autonomous car testing nationwide. Jason Levine, executive director for Center for Auto Safety, says that testing for self-driving cars has been going too fast and worries that humans are being used as “guinea pigs” in self-driving tests.
