You can count on your fingers the major election events between today and Election Day.
Now that the Democratic and the Republican conventions have taken place, all eyes look to the upcoming presidential and vice presidential debates. The Commission on Presidential Debates just announced the moderators for each debate, including NBC’s own White House correspondent and “Weekend TODAY” co-anchor, Kristen Welker.
Fox News’ Chris Wallace will host the first presidential debate between President Donald Trump and the Democratic nominee Joe Biden on Sept. 29 in Cleveland. Susan Page, the Washington, D.C., bureau chief for USA Today, will moderate the single vice presidential debate between Vice President Mike Pence and Sen. Kamala Harris, D-Calif., on Oct. 7 in Salt Lake City, Utah. Steve Scully, a producer and editor for C-SPAN’s “Washington Journal,” will host the second presidential debate Oct. 15 in Miami. Finally, Kristen Welker will be hosting the third and final presidential debate Oct. 22 in Nashville, Tennessee.
All four debates will be 90 minutes each and will start at 9 p.m. ET.
