Heavy rains caused the flooding that surrounded this farm in Switzerland.

Floodwaters surround a farm near the village of Magadino in Ticino, Switzerland, on Sunday. Heavy rain caused the flooding in the region.

A landslide also in Ticino destroyed an apartment building. Regional police said two local women, aged 34 and 38, had been found dead, while four others, including a 44-year-old Italian man, had been injured and taken to hospital after the building collapsed.
