New York Prison Break: An Inside Look at Killers' Escape Route

Governor Cuomo's office released photos of the escape route used by two inmates who busted out of a maximum-security prison in Dannemora, N.Y.

As the search continues for Richard Matt and David Sweat, Governor Cuomo's office has released photos of the dramatic escape route used by the two inmates who busted out of a maximum-security prison.

This is one of two rectangular holes made in the cells of David Sweat and Richard W. Matt at the Clinton Correctional Facility. The inmates cut the holes into the steel at the backs of their cells and escaped the prison by tunneling their way out.Darren McGee / New York State Governor's Office
