Presidential candidates are planning to hit the road again after the Christmas holiday, but winter weather in Iowa has forced some campaigns to cancel events in the all-important first caucus state.
Forecasters expect as much as 12 inches of snow in some parts of northern and central Iowa, and the National Weather Service has issued a winter storm warning for all 99 counties in the state.
New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie was scheduled to kick off a three day trip to the state at Happy's Place in Dubuque but canceled the stop due to the inclement weather.
And Marco Rubio announced Monday morning that he will reschedule a planned stop in Burlington, Iowa.
Both candidates say they will press on with the rest of their scheduled campaign stops throughout the state this week.
