If you're simply looking for a great rate, don't forget about hotels.com. The site has 413 properties in Chicago to search. When we recently clicked on the "Chicago" tab, there was a $33 per room per night rate at the Super 8 Motel in East Hazel Crest, a suburb 26 miles south of Chicago proper. Hotels.com also has an impressive rewards program, which we blogged about this summer.
