The Justice Department said it was an act of terrorism when Mohammed Alshamrani, a Saudi Air Force officer in the U.S. for military training, killed three at Pensacola Naval Air Station in December. Investigators say he posted anti-American, anti-Israeli and jihadist messages before the attack and apparently acted alone.
