‘I am now comfortable saying this was a domestic terrorist’: Austin police chief on bomber


After drawing criticism for failing to describe the Austin bomber as a terrorist, authorities are strengthening their position. Austin Police Chief Brian Manley addressed reporters on Thursday and said he now feels confident in calling the bomber a “domestic terrorist” and apologized for his previous softer wording.
