Woodstock: 3 Days of Peace, Love and Rock 'N' Roll

05:47

Imagine watching Jimi Hendrix, Janis Joplin, Santana, The Who and all the greats playing in the same place. That was Woodstock... the granddaddy of the modern music festival, and what every festival has tried to recapture since the O-G went down in August 1969. But how did the iconic event even come together? And what actually happened there? NBC News' Savannah Sellers talks about how, against the odds, Woodstock's founders pulled the whole thing together. It’s all part of Stay Tuned Explains: The Summer of ‘69.
