Trump changes tactics on controversial Trump Tower meeting with Russian lawyer

President Trump made a striking acknowledgment after a year of denials and shifting stories about the controversial 2016 meeting at Trump Tower between his campaign aides and a Kremlin-connected attorney. On Twitter, Trump wrote that the meeting was to get information on “an opponent.” It is illegal for any campaign to receive help from a foreign government or individual.
