2016 Campaign Logos: Hillary's Bold H
With every new candidate who joins the race for the presidency, we get a new logo. Each is an image that is meant to evoke an idea, convey the essence of the candidate and his or her vision for the campaign. We asked design expert Sagi Haviv, a partner at the brand identity firm Chermayeff & Geismar & Haviv and an instructor at the School of Visual Arts,to put politics aside and take us through what works graphically and what doesn’t in an attempt to answer two questions: what idea is this image meant to convey and how successful is it in its attempt?
