And that's a wrap for the 2023-24 NFL season

Chiefs' win dedicated to founder's late wife
The Chiefs dedicated their win tonight to Norma Hunt, the late wife of team founder Lamar Hunt.
In a post on X, the team shared a photo of the Vince Lombardi Trophy and captioned it "For Norma" to honor the team matriarch, who died in June. The team has been wearing a patch on its jerseys all season, including at tonight's Super Bowl, with the initials "NKH" inside a football to commemorate her.
Her son Clark Hunt, the Chiefs' chairman and CEO, said in a news release in September that it would be a tough season without her but that the family would be proud to honor her legacy.
"My mom loved football, and she loved the Chiefs," he said. "She also believed in the power of sports to unite communities, and the impact sports can have on young people."
Bettor wins $45,000 after calling it for the Chiefs — in August
Chad Bleznick was nervous the entire Super Bowl.
Not just because “Mahomes is my guy,” but because he put $7,500 on the Chiefs to win — back in August.
Once the thrilling overtime game ended, Bleznick was a whopping $45,000 richer.
“I bet on the Chiefs before the season at 6-1,” he said shortly after the game. “Thank you Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs, I’m really grateful, amazing win.”
“I was really nervous at the beginning, but when you got Mahomes, you always gotta be confident,” he said.
Bleznick, 28, has a sports card business and bets regularly. He moved to Las Vegas because “it’s just good for business out here.”
“I gamble a lot,” he said. He also said that he’s a Taylor Swift fan and that “I like Kelce, too” — her boyfriend and Super Bowl champ.
Patrick Mahomes named MVP
Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes was named the Super Bowl's most valuable player for the third time.
It's still Taylor Swift's world; we're just renting
The pop sensation was on the field celebrating and sharing kisses with her boyfriend, Travis Kelce.
Swift is no stranger to Allegiant Stadium as Las Vegas was the second city on her Eras Tour in 2023.
She played at the Raiders' home on March 24 and 25.
Chiefs presented with the Vince Lombardi Trophy
The Kansas City Chiefs were triumphant standing together on the field as they were presented the Vince Lombardi Trophy in Las Vegas.
Mahomes was asked what it was like to win after being doubted through the playoffs, particularly as he played his first postseason games on the road.
"Just know that the Kansas City Chiefs are never underdogs," Mahomes said. "Just know that."
Meanwhile, tight end Travis Kelce hit the crowd with his trademark Beastie Boys reference, yelling out "you gotta fight, for your right, to parrrtty."
49ers, one of the biggest winners in the Super Bowl era, have now lost 3 straight
The San Francisco 49ers, with five titles, remain one the the Super Bowl era's biggest winners.
But now they're on a three-game Super Bowl losing streak, having dropped title games in 2013 and 2020 and tonight.
They're still short of the five title game losses of the Denver Broncos and the New England Patriots. The Buffalo Bills and the Minnesota Vikings have each lost four times in the Super Bowl.
