Between cold weather and Covid concerns, you may find yourself spending more time at home this winter, specifically in the kitchen. If you’re looking to upgrade your collection of appliances, we recently rounded up a handful of coffee makers under $180, which would make great Valentine’s Day gifts for those who enjoy a cup of Joe every morning. We also talked to experts about highly rated bread makers and silicone baking mats. And if you’re interested in making meal prep easier, check out our guide to meal delivery services.

In apparel news this week, Madewell recently expanded its Madewell Forever resale program in partnership with threadUP. The brand introduced a spin on threadUP’s Clean Out Kits — customers can get a kit in Madewell stores or online, fill it with women’s clothing, handbags, shoes and accessories from any brand and drop it off at their local post office or FedEx location. For every pair of jeans you send in, you’ll earn $20 off new ones from Madewell, and you’ll get shopping credit in exchange for other clothing.

New from Branch Basics, Grovemade and Stitch Fix

Below, we've rounded up a few recent launches we think you’ll want to know about.

Branch Basics launches dishwasher tablets

Branch Basics said its new Dishwasher Tablets are formulated with plant-based ingredients that break down grease, remove food buildup and leave dishes clean without residue. They’re made without a plastic film — instead, the tablets are held together by a plant-based binder that’s biodegradable, according to the brand. The tablets dissolve in the dishwasher and are fragrance-free. You can purchase them in a pack of 40.

Grovemade introduces new desktop accessories

Grovemade’s collection of hardwood keyboard and trackpad trays are precision-fit to be used with Apple products, according to the company. The trays feature a cork lining, which Grovemade said ensures tech doesn't move around while it’s being used and helps prevent it from getting scratched. The trays also have an aluminum base and cork footers so they stay in place. Grovemade also launched companion wrist rests constructed from the same materials. The wrist rests feature a leather bed on top that the brand said gets softer with use. You can purchase the keyboard trays, trackpad trays and wrist rests in maple or walnut hardwood.

Stitch Fix debuts women’s active and athleisure brand

We Wander is Stitch Fix’s first exclusive women’s active and athleisure brand, featuring items like joggers, hoodies and zip-ups in addition to sports bras and tops. Apparel is available through Stitch Fix Freestyle, the brand’s online boutique, and pieces come in a range of sizes from XXS to 3XL. According to the brand, all of the We Wander products are under $100. Stitch Fix also recently announced its Goodbye Gymtimidation campaign in collaboration with Venus Williams, aiming to help women with feelings of anxiety around working out in front of others.
